Key SDG Focus Areas and Progress in Cameroon:

  • Poverty & Hunger : Strategies aim to drastically reduce poverty and improve food security through sustainable agriculture.
  • Infrastructure & Energy : Efforts are focused on increasing access to electricity, modernizing energy, and expanding renewable energy sources by 2030.
  • Health & Education : Focus is on reducing maternal mortality, expanding quality education, and improving sanitation.
  • Environment & Climate : Contributiing to  to lower  emissions, fight deforestation, and invest in resilient infrastructure.
  • Governance & Peace: the focus is on strengthening institutions, promoting inclusivity, and fostering peace.
